 V Club is fast becoming known as the premier Yoga club in Australia, offering world-class teaching in a variety of styles in Zen surrounds to bring you the ultimate Yoga experience. V Club has created its Yoga Concept around the traditional teachings of V Yoga, an ancient philosophy correlated by the Sage Patanjali (approximately 400 BC). In Patanjali's Yoga sutras also known as Yoga Darshan (philosophy of Yoga), it is clearly indicated that before Yoga (union) of the individual soul with the universal soul is achieved. First, we must practice V Yoga (separation) also known as Seers Yoga.
V Yoga, as the symbol represents, initially begins with separating consciousness from the material world and understanding what is permanent and what is impermanent in life. As we gain more clarity around our true self, these two worlds come together to form Union (Yoga) the bottom of the V symbol. This concept includes understanding the mind, the intellect, the ego and the body, which comprises of the five elements, ether, air, fire, water and earth. At V Club we are committed to teaching traditional Yogic wisdom but demystifying it to make it accessible for all.
V Club offers students space to inquire into their true nature, which not only brings balance back into their normally extroverted life, but it allows the student to experience V Yoga, and thus achieve non-attachment to the impermanent little self (the Seen) and gain more wisdom and true love of the permanent Self (the Seer).
