All of V Club’s Yoga classes belong to Hatha Yoga, a physical Yoga system aiming to balance Sun (Ha)and Moon (Tha) energy in each individual.

V Club offers several unique styles of Hatha Yoga for your own inner peace and well-being.

POWER YOGA is a vigorous flowing style of Yoga that burns calories, sculpts the body and develops core strength and creates space for the student to experience true inner peace, even whilst facing challenging poses in a heated room. Power Yoga brings a transformational energy to its practice and challenges students to free themselves from their mind to live in the present moment.

YIN YOGA is a static practice done in a mildly heated room targeting specifically the lower back and hips. Poses are held for long periods but are conducted with little physical effort, allowing mostly gravity and body weight to assist the prevention of any de-generation and fixation of the deeper connective tissues, joints and ligaments.

ANUSARA YOGA is an elegant system of alignment principles within a dynamic and self explorative practice. The poses of Anusara Yoga are considered to be heart orientated. A graceful flowing practice with emphasis on finding freedom within. (Coming Soon to V Club)

HOT HATHA is a system of wellness restoration and rejuvenation. The heated studio facilitates detoxification, greater flexibility and relieves stress and tension. This static style of Yoga often uses mirrors and repetitive poses to allow students to acknowledge their physical progress in the practice, whilst being open to the spiritual benefits of the practice.

HATHA VINYASA YOGA includes a variety of styles from pranayama (breathing) classes to more flowing (Vinyasa) asana classes.  As well as the styles mentioned above they are all done for the purpose of developing awareness, to prevent rheumatism, aid in digestion and to increase the energy flow within the body. Hatha Yoga is excellent for those with arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes or for those who suffer from indigestion, constipation, acidity, disorders of the reproductive system and aids in breaking down neuro-muscular knots. These classes will vary from time to time, as we introduce new sequences and styles offered by teachers to discover the best Yoga teaching for you.
