So what is a Kettlebell?

Basically it looks like a cannonball with a handle. It allows you to perform many more exercisers than you could with a traditional dumbbell or bar.

How do I get started? vclub_kettlebells

For safety reasons Kettlebell Training at V Club can only be done with a Personal Trainer or if you have been Certified as a Kettlebell user.

You can do one or both of the following options:

1) Join the Kettlebell 2 week Orientation Course
  • 4 sessions over 2 weeks
  • In these sessions you will learn the first series of exercises and their progressions.
  • At the fourth session, you will be evaluated and presented with a Kettlebell Training Certificate.  You will be issued a wrist band that identifies you as being a V Club Kettlebell user which you must wear when training Kettlebells without a trainer.
  • Upon completion of the course you will be permitted to use the Kettlebells in your own training anytime you wish
  • You will be guided by V Clubs most senior Kettlebell trainers.                                                                         Michelle Dean - Chief of Programming

2) Learn with a Personal Trainer.
You can get yourself a Personal Trainer to incorporate Kettlebell Training into your one on one sessions.  Once you have mastered the basic moves your trainer will issue you with your Kettlebell Training Certificate and wrist band so you can use the Kettlebells when training on your own. Typically training one on one with a Trainer enables you to learn more moves in a shorter time.
