Beauty in Motion
Ballet dancers are the strongest, most graceful and most lean athletes in the dance world. Due to the dynamic strength, power and endurance of ballet movements, ballet dancer's bodies tend to be powerful, yet streamlined.
Ballet classes at V Club blend centre and barre work, choreography and conditioning resulting in a complete, full-body workout. Your instructor will give technical assistance as well as making the class achievable and above all, enjoyable.
Classes are taught by trained ballet professionals where the emphasis is on giving participants an authentic ballet class. Learn plies, tendus, pirouettes, grande jetes and arabesques. You will then combine what you have leant resulting in a mini routine.
Can I do this class if I have never done Ballet before?
Anyone can do and should do Ballet! At V Club no previous experience necessary you simply show up and give it a go. We know you'll enjoy it, everyone does, experienced or not.
What should I wear?
Most participants wear bare feet or ballet slippers. Some members simply roll down their socks so that only the heel is exposed. We recommend that you wear clothing that you can comfortably kick, leap and spin in. |
